See that's the problem with many games today. Especially games that are only good for online. Old games that are on the virtual console are timeless and are played over and over again (street fighter 2). But todays games are "beat them once, then trade them in".
So sad.

The thing is cajun, there will always be shovelware crap that people buy. It's the nature of the game. I mean i never bought "DOA beach volleyball" on the ps2 but im sure many people did. The thing is the most popular console will always have crap and people to buy the crap.

Yeh every system has "utter crap"....that sells! The snes and ps1 would of had a ration off 30 - 1 crap to good games on those systems. Out of the 2000 ps2 games are you telling me they are all AAA titles.
And incase u havent noticed many "casual" games sell on other systems like DDR, singstar, Buzz, bratz, barbie, kung-fu panda. They all sold extremely well on systems (especially singstar...is that a game u buy???). Like i said before the ps2 was full of ...
Unfortunately rusted man almost every great game on the wii is "hidden" to many people on this site that "claim" there are no good games on the wii. (because they sure keep saying it..even though it has no merit at all).
Or if they do recognize a great game on the wii they usually say "This game should be on the 360/ps3!". Kinda hypocritical in my opinion.
So in a way there is some truth here to be told.

Anyone that says a game is not a game that is not in HD is an absolute tool, you must not have played games prior to the last gen because up until then it was all SD.
Anything with the phrase "hardcore" in it doesnt mean a single thing to me. Try and beat the original zelda to see how "hardcore" you really are.

Not "hardcore" lol what a joke of an article. People that use the term "hardcore" to describe themselves as people that only play FPS, and that every game needs to be online just annoy me.
Phantom hour glass, wind waker and spirit tracks are awesome games (with the cell shaded "toony" look)...maybe they were too hard for him or something.
